smbw is proud to announce the promotion of Emily Giannone, AIA from Interior Designer to Design Director. Since joining the firm, Emily has played a pivotal role in shaping award-winning, highly functional, and thoughtfully designed spaces across a range of project types.
Recognized for blending creative thinking with strong technical execution, Emily applies her multidisciplinary background in interior design to each project she contributes to. Her experience spans corporate office environments, media and broadcast spaces, hospitality design, and mission-driven community projects, with key work including Harris Williams, VPM Media Corporation, Sessions Hotel, the Ronald McDonald House, and Reverb.
