The renovation of the Executive Wing was driven by a desire to reflect their approachable ethos.
In 2008, Luck Stone and smbw partnered on a substantial renovation and addition to their headquarter campus. Nearly two decades later, we joined forces again to renovate the Executive Wing, ensuring the space meets the needs of the company’s next generation of leaders while honoring the family’s legacy.

APPROACH
While maintaining visual consistency with the existing building, the design introduced a fresh palette with invigorating colorful accents including verdant greens, burnt sienna, and bold denim blue. The vibrant palette complements the company’s brand and evolving management style. A key priority was the transformation of an underutilized office and administrative area into a new executive conference room that embodies the history and values of the company. Custom-branded elements, signage, material selections, lighting enhancements, and modern workplace strategies like the incorporation of hospitality bars were carefully considered to create an environment that is both inspiring and functional.
The renovation refreshed two executive offices, administration offices, the break room, and an existing meeting room while introducing a new executive conference room that reflects Luck Stone’s rich story. The new conference room is both welcoming and comfortable, paying homage to the company’s family heritage and values. Thoughtful details, such as custom signage and curated art displays, highlight significant moments in the company’s history and invite guests to engage with the space.
