Kathryn Haines’ career spans community organizing, public service, and advocacy for equity in health and education. From her beginnings as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali to her years as a Certified Professional Midwife serving rural communities, Kathryn has dedicated her life to building healthier, more just systems of care. At the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy, she leads initiatives that unite faith communities and civic leaders around a shared mission — ensuring that every person, regardless of background or zip code, has access to opportunity, care, and a healthy future.
